The Bwindi impenetrable national park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda, it was gazette in 1993 and by 1994 declared a UNESCO world heritage site as a way of protecting the critically endangered species mountain gorillas, Gorilla beringei it’s a number one primate destination situated 8hours drive by road from Entebbe, the majestic creatures do not live in captivity.
Gorilla Tracking is a super exciting experience, the herbivorous animal is interesting to look at as it exhibits a playful nature mostly the young ones, it feeds on plants like mimolopsis, mushrooms, or sometimes termites, the gorilla distance depends on how far the primates have moved it takes from 2 -8 hour while tracking.
A Ugandan permit strives to 700 USD and Rwanda 1500 USD is advisable to book them on time.
